The UFC is back in Canada. And this time they are going to Montreal, in the French speaking province of Quebec, which is home to Georges St Pierre, one of the greatest of all time. Surprisingly, neither of the four fighters on the main or the co-main event of the clash are from Canada, but then again, the UFC is a truly global sport, which doesn’t even require hometown heroes to sell out arenas.
But as usual, as the card approaches, there is one question that many fans have– how much are the stars being paid for fighting on the June 10 card. Luckily, in this article, we try and answer that very question as best we could.
What is Belal Muhammad & Jack Della Maddalena’ payout at UFC 315?
Before we start discussing how much the stars will get for UFC 315, a disclaimer is in order. Remember that all the figures discussed in this article are speculation based upon previous reported purses since the UFC does not publicly discuss how much it pays its fighters (except in California, which requires public declarations of the purses).
Now let’s get to business. Headlining the UFC 315 card, of course, is a cracking clash between Belal Muhammad and Jack Della Maddalena for the former’s welterweight title. As far as their purses for the event are concerned, Muhammad, as the champion, will earn far more than ‘JDM’.
According to reports, ‘Bully B’ took home $65000 for his UFC 304 clash against Leon Edwards. But now that the Palestinian-American is champion, his payout for UFC 315 is set to double and be in the range of $800k to $1 million, according to Spanish news outlet, ‘Marca’.
February 26, 2025, Montreal, Pq, CANADA: UFC 315 welterweight champion Belal Muhammad, left poses with contender Jack Della Maddalena following a press conference, PK, Pressekonferenz to announce their upcoming fight in Montreal on Wednesday, Feb. 26, 2025. On the other hand, Maddalena, who made $200,000 for his UFC 299 clash against Gilbert Burns, is also set for a significant increase in his purse. According to ‘Marca’, the Aussie challenger will make around $350,000 to $450,000 for the title clash.
UFC 315 salary of Jose Aldo, Benoit Saint Denis, and others
On the co-main event, Valentina Shevchenko will defend her women’s flyweight belt against surging French contender, Marion Fiorot at UFC 315. As champion, ‘Bullet’ may take home over $1 million, while the challenger, Fiorot, is estimated to make somewhere around $350,000 to $400,000 in the most important fight of her career so far.
Also gracing fans with his presence at UFC 315 would be the legendary former featherweight champion, Jose Aldo, who is set to take on #15 ranked Canadian bantamweight Aiemann Zahabi. We unfortunately do not have any information about Aldo’s last couple of purses, but there are reports he made around $400,000 for his UFC 278 clash against Merab Dvalishvili in 2022. We feel that the Brazilian will make somewhere in the range of $400,000 to $500,000 for the clash, which was moved from 135 to 145-pounds at the last moment since ‘Junior’ couldn’t make weight.
Another French star on the main card of UFC 315 will be former French Special Forces operative, Benoit Saint Denis, who will look to bounce back from two stoppage losses in a row against Kyle Prepolec on the Montreal card. ‘Marca’ has reported that ‘God of War’ earned $256,000 for his UFC 299 co-main event clash against Dustin Poirier, and made the same amount for his UFC Paris clash. If this is true, we expect his UFC 315 salary to be in the same ballpark. What do you think about the estimated payouts for UFC 315?
