What Happened to Napheesa Collier vs Las Vegas Aces? Minnesota Lynx Star in Physical Distress After Apparent Injury

Okay, what’s happening in the W? So many star players have gotten injured recently, and the list just keeps on expanding. Today was no exception, as star player and MVP candidate Napheesa Collier sustained an undetermined right ankle or foot sprain during the Minnesota Lynx vs Las Vegas Aces showdown.

While Collier didn’t need to be carried off, she didn’t look completely comfortable with walking either. “Napheesa Collier walks off the court under her own power — but with assistance — after an apparent right foot/ankle sprain. Camera shots show her moving back to the locker room very slowly and gingerly.” Reporter Kendra Andrews tweeted.

Head coach Cheryl Reeves is coming under fire for her decision to keep Collier in the game, as the Lynx were up more than 40 points at the time of injury.
