Who Is Stephen Fulton’s Wife/Girlfriend? Everything About His Children & Family Life

Latest reports reveal that Stephen Fulton missed weight and had to step back on the scale to make it. Ahead of his much-anticipated rematch against Brandon Figueroa, such news might be unsettling for fans. With only a few hours remaining before the big fight, Fulton is likely reflecting on his family and friends. Many fans hope to see him emerge victorious once again. Many are curious about the Philadelphia native’s personal life. Who are his immediate family members and loved ones? They also want to know about his childhood growing up in Philadelphia.

Call him ‘Cool Boy Steph’ or ‘Scooter.’ But Fulton – alongside Jaron Ennis – has emerged as a torchbearer of Philadelphia’s great boxing tradition. However, after steadily making his mark in the super bantamweight division, Fulton suffered a major setback when he collided with ‘The Monster’ Naoya Inoue. Since then, the Philadelphia native has been on a relentless warpath to resurrect his career.

Is Stephen Fulton married? Partner and kids

Despite multiple attempts, precise details about Stephen Fulton’s personal life and relationships remain elusive. Details about his early years – his introduction to boxing and amateur career—are well documented. But information about his relationships is scarce.

Even his social media presence offers little insight. However, reports suggest that Fulton previously lived with his girlfriend, Tiffany Jubilee. The couple welcomed a son named Abdul Muqtadir. A few years ago, following a street gun incident (though not directly near his home), Fulton, Tiffany, and their son decided to relocate to Northeast Philadelphia for safety.

Stephen Fulton’s early life and background

Born and raised in the Richard Allen Projects—one of Northern Philadelphia’s toughest neighborhoods—Fulton grew up in an environment where crime and violence were a daily reality. His family life was equally challenging. His father, Stephen Fulton Sr., was incarcerated for much of his childhood. As a result, his mother, Commaleana Moore, raised Fulton and his siblings single-handedly. However, she also battled substance addiction, adding another layer of hardship to his upbringing.

In addition to these struggles, Fulton was born with a major birth defect—his back muscles were not fully developed, leaving an open wound on the lower portion of his back. His older sister, Iyana Moore, took on a caregiving role, dressing the wound and changing his diapers. As a child, he was self-conscious about the condition. To avoid constant questions, his family jokingly told people he had been attacked by a tiger at the zoo.

Despite these challenges, Fulton chose a different path from many around him. He once recalled, “Being at a school where you have to walk through metal detectors, growing up with childhood friends getting killed, and being around people selling drugs. The people I knew who did sell drugs, I chose a different route. I grew up my first 10 years without my father, and then he came home.

At the age of 10, he was introduced to boxing by his father and began training at James Shuler Boxing Gym in West Philadelphia. Under trainer Hamza Muhammad, he made a name for himself, winning Silver Gloves and Golden Gloves titles.

Fulton’s Journey and Recent Career Moves

Before his loss to Inoue, Fulton trained under Wahid Rahim, who gained attention for calling out Inoue’s team over hand-wrapping concerns. However, the defeat led to significant changes in his camp. After more than a year away from the ring, Fulton returned with a new game plan.

He moved up a division. Ahead of his fight against Carlos Castro, he joined the stable of Derek ‘Bozy’ Ennis—father and trainer of Jaron Ennis. Fulton secured a win over Castro on the Canelo-Berlanga card on September 14. But the move also made a rematch with Figueroa inevitable. ‘The Heartbreaker’ had already transitioned to the featherweight division after losing to Fulton two years ago, eventually becoming an interim champion.

Many believe ‘Bozy’ Ennis might have reshaped Fulton’s fighting style. Fans can expect a more aggressive version of Fulton – one determined to silence doubters and claim a definitive victory over an opponent who many believed deserved to win their first fight. Now, with high stakes on the line, a victory for Fulton could open doors to bigger fights. A title unification against Nick Ball or Rafael Espinoza could be on the horizon. Or who knows, even a rematch with Inoue may occur.

Like many successful fighters, Fulton has begun expanding his career beyond the ring. With improved financial stability, he ventured into business, opening a restaurant in Philadelphia called ‘CBS’ (Cool Boy Steph). Reports suggest he may have plans to expand into Miami as well, demonstrating an interest in entrepreneurship beyond boxing.

So, the big question remains: Does Stephen Fulton have what it takes to elevate his name and career to boxing’s elite ranks?
