He’s already one of the best rim protectors in the league, and without Gobert, Minnesota is going to have its hands full trying to slow him down. Reid and Knight need to step up, or this could get ugly fast.
This game also carries a lot of weight in the playoff race. The Timberwolves come in at 31-26, fighting for position in the crowded West. Meanwhile, the Thunder have been dominating, sitting at 45-10 and holding the No. 1 seed. If Minnesota can pull this off, it would be a huge statement win.

With Gobert, DiVincenzo, and Randle all sidelined, Edwards will have to take on an even bigger offensive load. But he won’t be able to do it alone. Conley’s playmaking and McDaniels’ defense will be just as important in keeping this game close.
